About Sarah

I have a strong interest in people, behaviour and knowledge of learning theory as a BSc Hons Psychology graduate. I also have a passion for making learning fun and rewarding following ten years’ experience of working in learning and development roles in professional services, higher education and educational charities.

After volunteering with Guide Dogs and RSPCA and then working with rescue dogs at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, my passion is to develop positive connections between dogs and humans and ensure as many dogs as possible stay in their forever home. I love learning and strive to keep my knowledge updated with the most recent developments in ethical dog training. I have a Level 5 Dog Behaviour Practitioner Diploma (with distinction) and I am a registered Animal Training Instructor through the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC). I am also a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), which means having gained the relevant academic qualifications, I am now gaining the practical experience necessary for full membership.

Having been a puppy parent, I know that it is not always easy and at times can be rather challenging. The good news is, we can help you to teach your puppy valuable life skills and build a lifelong relationship using positive, reward based methods, whilst having lots of fun too!! I look forward to meeting you and your new puppy very soon.
