About Sarah

My passion for dogs and puppies, plus a desire to give them the best possible start and improve quality of life for them and their families, led me to become a Puppy School tutor. Having previously attended classes with my own puppy, I knew that helping other new dog owners was my key goal in life. Following extensive training, I qualified as a tutor in 2015 and this led to the creation of Puppy School Hollywood.
I share my life with my husband Adam (also a qualified tutor and my Associate Tutor), and our four dogs. Our fur babies are Nanuk (Alaskan Malamute), Nala (Siberian Husky, rescue), Nia (Akita x German Shepherd, rescue) and Milo (another Husky, rescue). My change of career led to us having the time to invite a Malamute into our lives (after extensive research) and Nanuk continues to be the heart of our home.
​Puppy School allows both Adam and I to meet so many incredible dogs and their owners, helping them improve their understanding of one another along the way. We are total advocates of reward-based training and continue to be amazed by the success that this training methodology brings.
I am a member of both the ABTC (Animal and Behaviour Training Council) as an Animal Training Instructor and APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) membership number #01595. Continuing my professional development is at the core of my beliefs so that I can offer the most up to date and ethical training.

Class Information

We offer a range of Puppy School classes located at three different venues within Worcestershire - Wythall & Redditch. Puppy School and Puppy School Older Pup classes are for beginner puppies that have had no training, whilst SuperPup and Puppy University are follow on courses.
Our class sizes are kept small to ensure quality coaching (up to 6 puppies per course) and usually have two qualified tutors (both myself and Adam).
