About Sarah

I have lived on the edge of the New Forest all my life and been fortunate enough to be able to share my life with a wide variety of animals.
My interest in animals led me to study animal management and animal science at degree level and then to go on to gain my Masters degree in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from Southampton University in 2006.
I have owned a variety of dogs, from the beautiful, big and elegant Irish Wolfhounds to a medium sized cheeky terrier cross and several sizes in between. I have been fortunate to own and raise some from puppies so have plenty of experience but also others taken on as adult rescue dogs to either live with me permanently or as foster dogs on their way to a new forever home. I am currently owned by an Italian Spinone and a Labrador.
I have worked full time in the field of dog behaviour and training for many years and have previously been a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) but have now changed my focus to work predominantly with puppies.
I have been running Puppy School classes for over 17 years, so have a wealth of experience and knowledge to help support you with your new pup.
My puppy classes will be friendly, fun and use reward-based methods to help give you the knowledge and support needed to help raise a well-adjusted dog. I very much look forward to meeting you soon.
