My name is Lydia, and my passion is dogs especially puppies!
I work in rescue and run my own dog walking and training business, focused on supporting dogs who need a little extra help navigating life. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all personalities and backgrounds and this experience has shaped the way I teach. Many of the dogs i see come into rescue aren’t given up because they’re “bad,” but because the right guidance wasn’t there at the start and that continues to drive how I support owners and their puppies.
My first puppy, Joey, a Working Cocker Spaniel, challenged everything I thought I knew about training and owning a puppy. Helping him grow into a confident, happy dog pushed me to dive deeper into understanding how dogs think, learn, and thrive, watching him grow remains one of the greatest joys of my life.
I’m a certified Puppy School Instructor, and I run Puppy School classes that are friendly, fun, and practical. My approach is modern, reward-based, and designed to build confidence, understanding, and real-life skills so puppies can explore the world safely while their owners feel supported and enjoy the journey.
At home, my life revolves around my three dogs, Joey, Flynn, and Scotch and my wife. They continue to challenge me, teach me, and remind me every day why I love what I do.
Puppy School is a set of six puppy training classes lasting one hour. The comprehensive curriculum has been carefully designed to take you through all the training basics giving you a great foundation for life with your new puppy, or for any further training classes or dog sport you choose to do later.
The puppy training exercises gradually progress from easy to more complex, building on your puppy's understanding and reliability each week.
