I launched Puppy School Chichester in May 2013, this quickly expanded and now in 2023, we have 4 different venues. With all the venues I decided it was time to change the name to go with the growth of the business to South Coast Dog Training School. I love teaching owners and their puppies and watching puppies grow in confidence and learning life skills to live in our human world. I started working at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in 2007 and where my dog career started but in when I had my first daughter Lauren we decided to move nearer family in Bracklesham Bay in 2012 and I started working for Downland Vets as a receptionist and ran all the puppy party's and in 2013 started my first puppy class this was a huge success and the business grew, I also worked part-time at Hounds for Heroes as their Puppy Trainer. In 2020 I made the decision to concentrate just on the business and now we teach 24 classes at various venues throughout the week.
Currently I teach Puppy School, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Scent classes, Workshops, and also I do 1-1's as well. I also mentor assistance dog teams for DogAID, Darwin Dogs, RAD and assess dogs for Assistance Dog Assessors Association and Therapy Dogs Nationwide.
South Coast Dog Training School provides a happy relaxed atmosphere for you and your dog to learn Positive Reward-Based training together. Our Puppy and Dog Training classes are aimed to be small so we can give individual attention to our clients and we encourage all of the family to come along including children over 4 years old.
