Charlie Houghton

Charlie started her professional life as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy. It was there that she became an instructor and completed qualifications in adult education, and really got the bug for teaching people! This combined with her love for animals, and especially dogs, led her to want a full career change to teaching people to live harmoniously with their dogs.

Charlie left the Navy in 2022 following 10 years' Service, and started training to be a Puppy School tutor. She now runs Puppy School classes in Worcester, and also offers 1-2-1 support for new puppy owners. Charlie is accredited as an Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and is also Pet and Human First Aid qualified.

Charlie lives with her husband and their three fur babies: Jet the working cocker spaniel, and Loki and Lyra the cats.
