Dogs are a big part of my family life and as an experienced, professional Dog Trainer and Dog Walker they also play a huge part in my working life.
After attending Puppy School classes with my own puppy (back in 2013), I knew that I wasn't fulfilling my life as I was meant to so I made the decision to leave my career in Human Resources and follow my passion and childhood dream of working with dogs. After extensive training and studying I qualified as a Puppy School Tutor. My passion for working with dogs continued and my business Happy Buddies Dog Training was born and continues to grow from strength to strength.
I am proud to be a Regional Manager within Puppy School and I look after a great team of Puppy School Tutors across Surrey, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
I am an advocate of reward-based training and I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG). I am also a Canine Hoopers World Instructor and qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor.
I have two dogs of my own (Buddy, a Lhasa Apso and Fudge, a Cockapoo). We have trained in both Obedience and Agility, the latter of which Buddy and I competed in! The bond I have with my two dogs is fantastic and a lot of that is down to the time I spend training them as they love to learn and training is a great way to build on an already special relationship.
Happy Buddies offer a range of services and all are delivered with professionalism, many years of experience and underpinned with up-to-date scienced based education and qualifications. Our Training is undertaken using modern, kind, effective, reward based methods and aims to enhance relationships between you and your dog to enable you to live harmoniously together.
We run Puppy School courses at 4 different venues in Reigate, Dorking (Brockham) and Lower Kingswood. We offer courses during the day, in the evenings and at weekends. We've hopefully got dates and times that will suit everybody!

+ Puppy School Assistant, Liz (who is training to be an Associate Tutor).
Our class sizes are small (maximum of 6 puppies) to ensure quality coaching and high standards are maintained. It also means more individual attention can be provided where needed to support you and your puppy.
We also offer follow on courses including SuperPup and Canine College and our Canine Hoopers Dog Sport courses! In addition we offer 121 training and other services include Professional Dog Walking and our Online Dog Shop.
