The Positive Dog Training Company is owned by Alice Crick, registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour Training Council (ABTC). Alice's long career with dogs started in rescue but she has been successfully running Positive Dog Training Company since 2013. At the Positive Dog Training Company, we are passionate about promoting the use of scientifically-sound, humane training techniques. In fully appreciating and understanding canine behaviour, the Positive Dog Training Company helps dogs and owners build a relationship of mutual trust and to have fun in training!
Alice currently runs carefully managed socialisation sessions for puppies at several Veterinary surgeries across Gloucestershire and is a Regional Manager for Puppy School operating in the Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire areas.
The Positive Dog Training Co. has a number of qualified Puppy School associate tutors. Becky Stickland holds a BSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training is also a Registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour Training Council.
With easy to follow, step by step information in your accompanying Puppy School manual, and with all the on-line video guides via our 'Puppy Club'; our classes are easy and effective but most importantly fun for both owners and puppies. We are here to help you achieve success via modern, reward-based, ethical training techniques based upon the science behind behaviour.
Puppy School classes are held at Maypole Village Hall, Stroud, Brimscombe and Thrupp Social Centre, Stroud, Stone village hall Near Berkeley and St Dominic's Village Hall, Dursley.
In addition to our Puppy School classes, we also run carefully managed puppy social walks and recall workshops in secure fields for our Puppy School clients in Wotton-Under-Edge and Stroud. These sessions are in addition to classes and are run in small groups with a qualified Animal Training Instructor present at all times.
The Positive Dog Training Company also offers SuperPup, Puppy University, Junior and Adult dog training classes at our venues so whatever your needs, please do get in touch.
